Hello!

My name is Laíne Scharf and I am a southern Brazilian illustrator.

Since my childhood, I have always loved spending my time reading picture books, watching animated series on TV, painting countless coloring books and drawing in any paper available in the house.

As an adult, after years of mixing part-time illustration with a corporate day work, I decided to follow my passion and dedicate myself fully to my creative career, where I have happily continued my journey ever since.

My happy place is in my studio, where characters, stories and adventures come to life and where I can use my creativity to help build amazing projects with my clients, always seeking to deliver my best version in each task I take.

My work mostly involves the children’s world, working with illustrated books, textbooks and character design. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with game art and animation materials.
